Many I wasn't adequately equipped to photograph, but it didn't matter. Seeing was the true gift. Fortunately I had my binoculars to help and many folks had spotting scopes and were kind enough to let me have a look. Really special stuff. The kind of things you see on a National Geographic special.
I would encourage everyone to visit this wonderful place given the opportunity. Have a look at Ken Burns' wonderful documentary series on the National Parks. Once you watch this beautifully photographed production, you'll want to start planning your next trip.
